Sacred wood, Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) is 100% natural, the wood is never chemically treated, neither during growth nor during processing. It is carefully hand-picked to offer customers the best quality, rich in essential oils and intense aroma. They also pack it by hand, in packaging made from recycled materials.
Today, the market offers a wide range of products aimed at improving well-being, in the wider context of the search for inner balance. The most famous in their assortment is the sacred wood, Palo Santo. In addition, we also find various incenses from different types of sage and other plants.
Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens)
Palo Santo (Bursera Graveolens) grows in the dry forest between Ecuador and Peru. It is a type of forest that thrives on dry, sandy soils. Palo Santo blooms in the first months of the year due to the abundant seasonal rains.
The use of sacred wood has become very popular, so reforestation is imperative. Immediately after the tree falls to the ground at the natural end of its life cycle, new plants are sown. Reforestation of the dry forest is important, also to allow future generations to benefit from ethical and sustainable Palo Santo.

Bursera graveolens is the plant from which Palo Santo incense is obtained. At the end of its normal life cycle, the Palo Santo tree falls off on its own and remains on the ground for several years. During this period, the wood becomes more connected to the resin and the sweet, intense and balsamic aroma characteristic of Palo Santo is determined. Our Palo Santo is 100% natural. To remove the microorganisms present in the trunk, the wood is heated to a high temperature. This process ensures the "purity" of the wood and there is no need to use pesticides.
Local communities directly monitor the production process on site. Their task is to select the most valuable parts of the wood, removing the roots, bark and other natural imperfections of the plant.
