Lenzing Modal ® is a material made in Austria. This material is basically beech wood (cellulose). This wood is not grown. Beeches are something special, as through “rejuvenation”they ensure that the forest is regenerated and so no artificial planting is required. Beeches are a completely natural and sustainable source of raw materials.

The production of this material in Lenzing, Austria, is just as special as the material itself. Their environmental standards are extremely high. 95% of their material is produced in Lenzing itself, which is famous for tourism.
