Sturdy rings and strap that's perfect for carrying my Manduka PRO yoga mat (extra long) to and from sessions. It also keeps the mat in place when placed horizontally on the floor for storage. Just make sure to tighten the carrier properly. Gravity keeps the mat in place, but if you don't tighten before lifting, it'll feel off balance on your shoulder and could possibly slip a little.
The carrier also doubles as a strap during sessions, which is exactly why I went for this, and not a bag!
